Hi I'm Lance

I live in Idaho & love the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, riding 4wheelers, camping, all that good stuff! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4wheelers, etc. I am a husband, been married to my sweetheart for 18 years now. We have two kids, 17 and 16. No, we didn't waste any time having our children! I am self-employed, enjoy talk radio, thoroughly enjoy a good game of pinochle.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mother grew up Presbyterian and always had more questions about religion than she could get answers. She joined the church when I was only 1 or 2 yrs. old. Although I grew up in the LDS church, I definitely had to gain a testimony of it for myself as I grew older to have a desire to remain active. Reading The Book of Mormon, praying to my Heavenly Father for guidance, studying the Bible, attending church and seminary were all great to strengthen my testimony. Today, I am grateful to have my beautiful wife and children. I am thankful to know that when we die that is not the end. Our relationships that we have on this earth continue on into the next. This earth life is merely a testing ground to see if we will be obedient to our Heavenly Father's will for us. The more obedient we are the more he can bless us. Trials still come but that is just part of the deal.

How I live my faith

I love my calling to serve the young men and youth. Scouting is a big part of what we do to work with the boys. I am an Eagle Scout and had fantastic leaders when I was a boy. Realizing that those leaders made all the difference in the world to me, I feel that it is extremely important to give back and help make a positive difference in the lives of the young men we work with. The positive experiences and things they learn will remain with them throughout their lives. Hopefully they can be a light and direction to others way into the future.
