Hi I'm Tom

I have an identical twin brother, I sing and dance for fun, I love to smile and...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, my name is Tom. I come from a nice size family of 4 older sisters and an identical twin brother. I was born in Nevada and grew up in Idaho. Some of my favorite things to do is dance. I wouldn't call myself a professional but there is nothing more fun to me then getting out on the dance floor and busting out moves while lip syncing to your favorite tunes. I also love the fact that dancing isn't only a way to have fun, but when beautifully portrayed, an actual form of worship! I also love to sing and try my best not to sing off key, but no promises! To me, that kind of stuff doesn't have to be about how good you are, but the way it makes you feel inside. In high school I participated in theater because its a great combination of the two and would recommend it to anyone. I graduated in 2011 and I am currently a full time missionary in the Washington DC South Mission! I have a sister who served in San Fernando which was such a wonderful example and motivation to me. I've played the piano since I was 7 years old and I use that skill as a way to relax. Some of my favorite things to do on the piano is make renditions of hymns and every once in awhile my own compositions...but just as a hobby.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love it! I was raised in the church but in my own due time I have gained a testimony of my own and have come to find that it is true, it really is! I love the way it makes me so happy. Happy to have my family, to have the savior in my life, to know that I can be forgiven for the mistakes I've made through the power of repentance, because I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, and with out the gospel, I would have none of that. I am a Mormon because I get to be directed by a living prophet today thats called of God. I have such a precious book in my life that not only furthers my understanding of Christ and his teachings in the Bible but also draws me nearer to my Heavenly Father. I am honored that for two years I get go abroad and teach fellow children of my Heavenly Father of that precious book and the wonderful things it teaches known as the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

Try to be like Christ! Its a simple as that! I do my best to live up to the promises I made with God when I was baptized. Of course we are not perfect but at the same time I then get to experience the power that comes from the atonement, what Christ did for us and my testimony can grow even stronger. As a full-time missionary I get to witness the hand of the Lord in my life everyday and begin to notice the tiny miracles we are constantley given from God, He loves us so much!
