Hi I'm Jenni!

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart. I am a working mother of 3 beautiful kids. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Man, how times flies... I feel like I just graduated from high school this past summer, when in reality it was 8 summers ago! But these last 8 years have been the best years of my life! I was raised in a big family, being the 2nd oldest of 6 kids, which I loved! And still do to this day! I'd have to say my siblings are some of my best friends, and it just keeps getting more fun as we are all growing up and having our own kids! And now my husband and I have been blessed with the opportunity to be parents to 3 of the cutest kids ever! And although I'd LOVE to have the single title of "stay-at-home Mom", like my mom was, this past year I have had to start work outside of my home to help with the bills. Even though this change has been a bit of a challenge for our family, balancing work and home and kids... I enjoy the challenge. In fact, I have even come to enjoy my brief time out of the home on days that I work, and I think it's helped me to grow and get to know myself a little bit more. Aside from work, my other hobbies or interests would have to be playing games with my family, music, cooking, shopping, photography, crafts, camping, and vacations! Although in reality, as a busy Mom I rarely have much time or money for most of those things, but I enjoy them when I do!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church for my entire life, born and raised, so I can not imagine my life without this Gospel. But I have to say it probably wasn't until I was pregnant with my first child that I really began to see the importance that it played in my life. My parents did the best that they could to teach me to live the standards of our church and choosing right from wrong, and I will forever be indebted to them for that. Through their teachings and example and also the example of other family members and friends, I have learned and can bear testimony that this church is true. This Gospel is truly the foundation for everything that I do in my life today. Without it I don't know where I would be. Because of it I know that families can be together forever and that through the atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we will all be able to return to him some day. I also know that our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is a true latter-day prophet, sent here in this day to guide and direct us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always doing my best to raise my family in the same ways that my own parents raised me. I have found that each day can be a test of faith, but as long as I am always working towards bettering myself and keeping up on the little things- reading my scriptures, remembering to say my prayers, attending church every Sunday, and keeping the Spirit in my home- those daily challenges can seem a whole lot easier!
