Hi I'm Paul Johnson

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Snowflake Az. I went on a mission to Honduras.

About Me

I am currently attending college for a bachelors degree in business. My wife and I have been married for 3 years and we have one little boy who is almost a year old now. I love playing sports. I play in a softball league on Tuesday nights and appreciate just about any other active sport. I love being outdoors, from 4 wheelers to snowboarding, fishing, hunting, I enjoy it all.

Why I am a Mormon

From an early age I was taught about the Church of Jesus Christ. I remember hearing stories of the prophet Joseph Smith and The Book of Mormon. I remember very well that when I started high school about age 14, I really started to ponder and question the things that I had been learning. I considered myself to be a lot like Joseph, wanting to know if the things that I had been taught while growing up were really true. Through reading The Book of Mormon and sincere prayer to my Father in heaven I received and answer that yes they were true. We are all children of a loving heavenly Father who yearns to bless us and help us through life. He truly does answer our prayers and will help us to feel what is right and what is not. Coming to a knowledge of the The Book of Mormon and the restoration of the church has blessed my life immensely. I have the hope and determination to carry on day after day. Life makes sense and truly is to be enjoyed not just endured. I've felt my Father in heavens love greatly and have come to know my savior as my greatest friend. Christ does live and is very involved in each of our lives. His church is on the earth today and blesses the lives of millions all across the world.

How I live my faith

My wife and I enjoy attending church very much. It is refreshing after a long week of work and stresses of life to go to church buildings and escape the world for a few hours. My wife and I have been able to participate in teaching the youth in our congregation. We feel that we relate to them very well. Its so enjoyable seeing them grow, hearing of their joys and struggles and teaching them how living the gospel of Jesus Christ can help them. We try hard to give back to others around us whether it be through service or in any other way. We have been blessed so much and want to share those blessings with others around us.
