Hi I'm Emily

I'm single. I'm a student. I'm a nursing assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third child of eight. I have really enjoyed growing up in a big family. It has taught me the value of love and patience. I look forward to having my own family one day and teaching them the love of their Savior Jesus Christ. I am currently going to school full time to become a court reporter. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but I am up for the challenge. I cherish my free time because I do not get a lot of it these days. When I can find time I can be found hanging out with friends and family. My dream some day would be to be a closed-captioner for a live News show in my home

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the the true Church. I have been taught by my parents from the time that I was young that I have a Savior that loves me, and because of His love, He suffered all things for me. As I grew older I wanted to know if these things I have been taught were true, so I studied and prayed about them and I knew in my heart that they were true. Life is not always easy, but when I am struggling it always helps me to open the scriptures or say a prayer, I am usually guided to an answer or reminded of the love my Savior Jesus Christ has for me and that He has not forgotten me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each week. It is important to be reminded of what our beliefs are on a regular basis and how we can apply them in our lives. I try to be a good example to those I come in contact with at school and work. I have a calling at church that is called compassionate service leader. I help identify the needs of the women in our church and help coordinate service that will meet those needs. I am so grateful and humbled to be able to be serve in such a wonderful organization.
