Hi I'm Kaara

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a master's student studying Speech-Language Pathology. I enjoy being outside with my husband playing sports, hiking and backpacking. Someday (when there's a little more to go around) I'll convince him that we need a canoe or two. My life is busy with school and taking care of/being taken care of by my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe God is my Father in Heaven, that He has a plan and a purpose for His children, and that He wants His children to know and follow that plan, so we can have the most happiness in this life and the next. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was restored to this earth by Jesus Christ to help each person learn and follow the plan that God has prepared for His children. I have been blessed in every aspect of my life by following this plan.

How I live my faith

As a student-clinician in Speech-Language Pathology, I am able to help people recover and develop an essential part of their personality and identity, their voice and their language. I have enjoyed helping individuals and families through this work. At church I am able to apply what I have learned at school to help me be an effective Sunday School teacher for young children.
