Hi I'm Dominic

I'm a PSR worker, a father of 5 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm working on my doctorate in Psychology. I moved to Idaho to have a good, and semi-rural environment to raise my kids in. I enjoy collecting comics, reading fantasy and sci-fi, and playing with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so thankful to be a Mormon. I have enjoyed learning the doctrine and I feel good when I pray about the truth of these things. The doctrine has always made sense to me, especially the fact that God would still use apostles and prophets to guide us just as he did in the past. I have a strong testimony that anyone can study the Book of Mormon and receive personal conformation of its truth through earnest prayer.

How I live my faith

I go to a three hour block of church meetings each Sunday. I help people research and organize their family history. I visit other members in their homes to share a message of Christ and help them any way I can. Occasionally, I have the opportunity to volunteer at an apple and peach orchard, whose produce is used to feed people in need. I also believe that one of the most important parts of living my faith includes the raising of my children in the gospel.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

A ward is a local group of mormons. Several wards will make up a stake. This is similar to how there are several cities inside a county. A branch is like a small ward. If an area does not have enough members to make a ward, it is called a branch. In the city/county analogy, a branch would be a small town or village as opposed to a city. Show more Show less
