Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Snowflake, Az. I have a wonderful wife and two kids. We now live in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married sine January 5, 2007. My wife and I have two children. My wife, Heather, and I graduated college from Arizona State University in 2010. We all now live in California. Our family loves to play together, especially games. We love to watch old films and shows. You could say we are a little old fashion. I don't feel that their is anything particularly unique about us. We play together, I go to work to support our family, we laugh, cry, disagree, make mistakes, but remember that we decided to be a family, and we will work to keep that an everyday reality.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love every aspect about it. I have a social connection wherever I live; I have instant friends, rides, movers, anything. My wife and children will always have a support group. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I learned that from my birth from two wonderful parents. They taught me how to live a good life, to pray to God, and to seek His forgiveness when I make mistakes. They also taught me that I need to know Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ myself. I have felt the Holy Spirit touch my heart and my mind with love and understanding to God's words. Because of the Spirt, I know that the Holy Bible is true. I have prayed and felt the same feelings about the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Savior's very own church. Christ set up his kingdom when he walked nearly 2000 years ago, and he restored it again today. It all makes sense to me. I don't feel any great stirring of the soul, or have I had any great revelation; The Spirit tells me in my mind. It makes sense to me, and I act accordingly. This is how I have faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first by deciding each day to behave according to what I believe. We do no curse or swear, drink or smoke. We pray as a family, as a couple, and personally each day to feel closer to God. I am a Ward Missionary. I have been asked to help the missionaries (white shirts, ties, bicycles) with the work of teaching the gospel. My goal is to help anyone interested in our faith to feel welcome and comfortable, to share my experiences with them, and help them in any possible way. As Christ said, "Follow me".

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

This is my wife's and my goal - to be together forever. I love her more than "to death do us part". I want nothing to separate us, and I believe that God doesn't want to take away any of our true happiness and joy. Show more Show less
