Hi I'm Josh

I'm a husband, a father, an outdoorsman, a sports enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to an amazing women for the past 12 yrs. She is a former Arizona State softball player. I am the father of three awesome kids - 2 girls and 1 boy. I work in the construction industry in Preconstruction Services. I love to be in the outdoors - fishing, hunting, camping w/ the family, hiking, etc. I am a sports FANatic! I love to help coach my kids' sports teams. Whether it's soccer, softball, baseball, or basketball my wife and I enjoy teaching other kids the fundamentals of sports. As a family, we LOVE going to the beaches of Southern California. A tradition our family has is to collect little glass containers of sand from each beach we have visited and date them along w/ the location. These are placed around our home to remind us of the fun we've had together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). As my mother converted to the LDS church at the age of 15 from the Catholic church, my sister and brothers and I were taught to question religion and find out the truthfulness of it at an early age. In the back of my mind, the LDS church always felt right to me and felt like it was true. But it wasn't until I served a 2 yr mission for the church that I truly took the time to pray to Heavenly Father and find out for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the only true church here on earth today. I received an overwhelming confirmation from the Holy Ghost that it is true.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ is an active religion . . . . not a passive one. Everyday, I try to live a life centered around Jesus Christ and his teachings. It's not easy. I make mistakes each day. The pressures of life (work, children, marriage, etc) can easily get to you. But the atonement of Jesus Christ has made it possible for us to overcome all these trials that we face in this life.
