Hi I'm Heather!

I express myself through writing, & I dabble in graphic design. I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, & missionary, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old. I am the youngest of six and owe everything to my wonderful family. They have helped me through my darkest times, and I love them immensely. My friends have also played a huge role in shaping me into who I am today. Whenever I get the chance, I like to blast music and dance like there's no tomorrow. Writing is my passion and how I express myself. I write poems, stories, and essays. I love to create new things. I have been a member all of my life, but have had many experiences that have led me to know of the truths of this religion. Currently, I am serving a mission in the historic England London Mission and Hyde Park Chapel Visitors' Centre. I love the Gospel with all my heart, and I love being able to testify of Christ, each and every day! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church, but have had many different experiences that have led to my belief in the Gospel. I love it with all that I am. Every since I was a wee little girl I have been taught the importance of staying true to our Heavenly Father. I have chosen to stay a faithful member because I have felt the Saviour's powerful love embrace me. I know that He loves each and everyone one of us on a very personal level. Whenever I am going through a rough patch, I know that I can pray to our Heavenly Father and that he will help me. I have had 4 siblings choose to go on missions and I have seen the great blessings that have come from their actions. I will never do anything to deny the true church and the happiness it brings. I've never felt more complete than I do when I am living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend my church meetings and faithfully serve in my church callings. Throughout high school, I woke up at 5:30 every other day to attend early morning seminary. It was hard, but I knew it was the best way to start my day. I'm grateful every single day for this Gospel and how it has shaped me into the daughter of God I am. I willingly accept all opportunities to serve and love to share this message of Jesus Christ to all that I can. As a missionary, I am dedicating 18 months of my life to serving our loving Heavenly Father. I have been blessed with so much, and I want to be able to share the blessings from the Gospel with those I meet.
