Hi I'm Joshua K. Olson

I'm from St. George Utah. I'm a convert. I'm a missionary in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up living in a LDS prominant state. however I myself did not grow up LDS (mormon). I spent my days working on hot rods, rock climbing, ATVing, running, biking, hunting, and bass fishing. Growing up I faced many challenges and trials. Addictions to drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes was my bigest down fall since the age of 16. I grew to detest the church as much as I could because of my poor judgement and relations with members at the time. Now I love, respect, and cherish every aspect of the Doctrine of Christ. I spend my days serving the Lord, Preaching His gospel to all his children. I find peace and joy from the Book of Mormon and living the teaching of the Gospel. I know that our Savior Lives!! That HE is the Living Son of the Living God!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon by choice! While I was lost and fallowing what satan would want of me filling my life with trash daily our loving Heavenly Father saw my strugle and sent the one person who could help me. My best friend helped me to change my ways. She intorduced me to the gospel in a way that no one has ever done before. She was bold and invited me to church with her and her family, I however, made myself sick every time I went to go. Finally I built up the courage to go to church with her, and lo and behold it was a fast and testimony sunday. Now this was just one of the steps to my conversion, through her love that she had for the Gospel, she helped me gain faith in prayer and the powers of the Holy Ghost. I knew I had to know more. I started taking lessons from the missionaries, in Feb 2010, at my best friends home. Her family opend there home to me and took me in as if I where their son. As I prayed having faith in Jesus Christ I learned how to clean out the trash of my life and fill it with a fullfilling happiness through the gospel and a true love of our Heavenly Father. Her faith in me, and our savior, gave me strength and her testimony was so powerfull and true. The Holy Ghost bore witness to me of the truth of these things, and I knew I couldnt deny the truth anymore. Finally on June 26, 2010 I was baptized and confirmed a memeber of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on June 27, 2010. Now 14 months latter I am at the Provo MTC prepairing to serve the lord for 24 months in the Texas Forth Worth Mission. I can say if it where not for my loving, caring best friend inviting me to church and sharing with me her testimony of the fullness of the gospel I wouldnt be here on today. I am forever grateful for one of God's Children who looked beyond the physical apperance and lovingly shared with me her testimony and brought me to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am serving my lord living my faith by doing his work here on the earth by spreading the gospel to all ends of the world. I study daily and constantly pray building my faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
