Hi I'm Seth

I'm a bank manager. I like shooting guns. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a working student. I work full time as a bank manager. I go to school in the evenings studying business and communications. I enjoying spending my free time either at the range or in the desert shooting guns with my family and friends. I have been happily married for 2 years to the woman of my dreams. I have all of my immediate family near by on my side and my wife's. We enjoy spending time with them and our 16 wonderful nieces and nephews. Seeing as how we are both the youngest, it gives us a great glimpse into what it will be like to be parents one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon very simply because it brings me happiness. I have never found any other way to find such fulfillment and joy in every aspect of my life as I do living the teachings of Christ. I was raised in the Church by my parents, and when I was 17 I really wanted to know for myself if everything they had been teaching me was true. I was challenged to really read, study, and pray about the Book of Mormon. I did, and I got an answer. It was no great voice from heaven or some angelic visitation but rather a very deep and comforting feeling of the Spirit that the book from which I had read was true. I knew for certain God had communicated with me through the Holy Spirit and that He really does speak to prophets today for our benefit.

How I live my faith

I strive every day to live up to the standards I hold true. I hope to exemplify integrity in my work, and show courtesy to those around me. I also stay involved with my local ward. I am an adviser to the 14 and 15 year old boys and I have the opportunity to teach them every week on Sunday. Later in the week I assist in activities that include service projects and fun social events. In my own time I enjoy studying both the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

Are Mormons Christians?

In the time closely following Christ's death, those that followed the teachings of Jesus and his Apostles were known as Christians. Today, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we also strive to be followers of the teachings of Jesus Christ. He truly is the center of our faith and worship. Without Him there would be no greater tomorrow, no light after dark, and no hope from fear. He is truly the center of our lives, our families, our homes, and our religion. Show more Show less
