Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a strong woman, wife, and mother. I'm a sexuality educator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an independent thinker who loves expanding my children's horizons. I enjoy introducing my family to all the wonderful things that the world has to offer. As we travel and experience different cultures, we learn about the variety of life and ideas which God has given mankind. As I've continued my education, I've learned how intimacy between spouses is part of God's design, and I enjoy serving others with this new-found appreciation.

Why I am a Mormon

I live my faith by trying to actively practice what I preach; whether it be at my vocation or in my church service. Though both may appear vastly different, I employ the overarching principles of love, compassion, generosity, and service. Though my current church responsibility may be teaching the weekly adult Sunday School class, my heart will always be with the hundreds of teenage girls with whom I've served over the years. Despite the blistering South Texas summers, the memories of the annual Young Women Camps will always remain with me and serve as a continual source of inspiration for my daughters.

How I live my faith

God's love for all his children is manifest though his continuing guidance through inspired leaders and directly to our souls. I'm a Mormon because I believe that the Glory of God is intelligence and that as our Father, God desires for everyone to find joy and peace in this life and in the here-after. Being Mormon means serving my family and growing in my understanding of how to serve them and others. Through scripture study, pondering, and prayer, I feel God teaching me how to bests accomplish his designs for me.

What is the Law of Chastity?

Melissa
Not only is the Law of Chastity a guide as to when we should avoid using this God-given gift, it's also a directive to use it fully and completely within marriage. It brings husbands and wives closer it each other and is a demonstration of our love for one another. Show more Show less
