Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a daughter. I'm a runner. I love pole vaulting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a high school senior trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my life. I knew that picking a college and a major would be a big decision, but I never expected it to be so stressful!!! I am the second daughter in a family of eight and I just became an aunt to the most beautiful niece in the world!! I am pretty much just your average girl. I love spending time with friends, going shopping, being crazy, and having frequent girls nights. I also love to run. I am a sprinter and absolutely love the satisfaction that comes after finishing a race. Some people may think I'm crazy for enjoying running, but honestly, I love crossing the finish line and finally winning the mental battle of wanting so badly to stop. I am also a pole vaulter. This has become one of my passions. I often wish that track could be a year round sport just so I could pole vault every day. I am a big fan of chocolate, don't always enjoy homework, and love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up with the gospel my entire life. I have never felt, though, that I haven't had a choice in the matter. I guess I just never questioned the things that my parents and church leaders taught me to be true. But, there came a time in my life when I knew that I could no longer rely on the faith and testimony of my parents. I don't remember any specific moments when I knew without a doubt that this gospel was true. But, through prayer and listening to the feelings of my heart, I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel that has given my life more meaning than I could ever imagine and has truly made me the person I am today. I know that I am a daughter of God with a grand potential. I believe that Jesus Christ suffered for me so that I can strive to be better every day. I know that there is a God, and that He cares about me and what I am doing in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my hardest to do what my Heavenly Father has asked me to do. I try every day to be an example of what I believe. I try to be someone that truly cares about the people around them. I try to show others the love that Christ has for them. I try to live my life in a way that people will know who I am any what I stand for.
