Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in college, studying Neuroscience and Chemistry. I love science and learning all about God's wonderful creation that is the human body, but I also have a love for art history. I love to get to know new people and new places. Music has a very special place in my life and I'm constantly looking for new things to listen to. My favorite books to read are biographies and historical fiction.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, but I still had to come to a point in my life when I decided that the Gospel is for me--it is for all of God's children. God's plan is perfect and I know that He knows and loves each one of us. This mortal life is not easy, but there is so much joy and comfort that comes when I let the Lord into my life and strive to do what is right. My best effort is all that He asks. Christ made the ultimate sacrifice not only for my sins, but for all of the hardships, pains, and sorrows that I will ever encounter. I know that it is only through Him that I can gain eternal blessings and return to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

For me, being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is something that permeates throughout my entire day. I love to read the Book of Mormon and speak with my Father in Heaven through prayer daily. I love attending church and other activities with my young single adult congregation because we can build friendships and a support system based on our mutual desire to partake of the Gospel and serve one another.
