Hi I'm Kirstyn

I'm a part-time translator, Zumba instructor, and seamstress. I'm a full-time wife, a mom, and daughter-in-law, and im a Mormon.

About Me

I do a little of everything to help my husband provide a great life for our family. At times I feel a little overwhelmed with my hand stirring so many pots but it gives me so many opportunities to testify of Christ through my standards and vocally. I love to serve my husband, children, and mother-in-law who lives with us. I love to serve the non English speakers living in our country. I love to show my gratitude for my body keeping fit and helping others keep fit through instructing Zumba classes in my community. Most of all I love being an instrument for Christ in my community and family, doing those things he would do if he were here.

Why I am a Mormon

Following Christ is an innate part of who I am. It makes sense to me to seek out His true Church and upon finding it, continuing to presevere always with Him. There is no other place on Earth where I have felt the fulness of his Spirit. I am a Mormon because in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I see and feel the church established as Christ established His Church in ancient times. I see men and women who serve God with no self interest involved. I see Christ's presence. I am Mormon because the LDS Church is the true church of the true and living Christ.

How I live my faith

I am so not perfect but I do a little more each and every day to be more Christlike. I live my life not for everyday but for the eventual eternity. As I live with this focus I strive not to lose focus on the daily worldly needs, rather I try to find joy and purpose in them in my journey back to our Heavenly, eternal home.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Paying a tithe makes so much sense to me as I reason that all we have comes from God and all He asks is that we return a small portion of that He has so generously provided for us. Too bad taxes aren't so easy! Show more Show less
