Hi I'm Bryton.

I'm a convert, a lover of math, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently in college at Brigham Young University - Idaho. and studying applied math and statistics. I love gymnastics, being creative, taking spontaneous adventures, watching movies, and spending time with my friends and family. I am recently married to my best friend, Ron. He introduced me to the church in high school, and I came to learn and love the gospel. He then baptized me in August of 2011 right before he left to serve a mission. The church has so much in store for every individual, and I cannot imagine my life without it. I am the only member in my family, but through the gospel, I know that I can be with my family forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Since converting to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have never felt such a fulfillment in my life. I know the reason I am here on Earth, I know what I am living for, and where I am going after my journey of life is finished. Each and every day has a purpose. I came to know the church through my best friend, and for several years, I was negligent to talk to the missionaries. But right before I left for college, a passion to know more about the church sprouted within me. I was so interested in finding out more about Jesus Christ, God, and the gospel, that I passionately strived to find out more each and every day. When I told my parents that I was going to be baptized, they were very uneasy. But even after all the trials I faced with my family's opposition and preparing to leave for college, every day and night that I read in the Book of Mormon, I knew that everything was going to be ok. I knew God was there to help me through it, and through the Book of Mormon, all my worries and fears were gone. The feeling I get whenever studying the Book of Mormon or hearing a church authority speak is nothing like any feeling I ever felt going to the church I went to as a kid growing up. I know through my prayers and through the testifying of the holy ghost that this is the true church of Jesus Chirst, that the gospel has been restored in its fullness to this Earth, and that God loves each and everyone one of us on Earth.

How I live my faith

My faith is an active part of my life, and is the main priority in my life. I find peace and happiness by attending church every week, as well as participating in weekly church activities. I very much enjoy having family prayer with my husband every day, and studying and reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible on a daily basis.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Bryton.
You can know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church by praying sincerely and with an open heart to God. He loves you so much that when you ask with deep intent to know the truth, he will answer your prayers. It may be through feelings, through thoughts, and even through what someone may say that you will know. It is an unmistakable feeling or thought, and you will know for certain that it is true.
