Hi I'm Amy

I love to make people laugh. I love breakfast. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a mom. I have five kids. I have five gray hairs. They are each named after my five kids. I love to quilt, read, and take HOT bubble baths. I sincerely dislike mice, dirty dishes, and stressful situations....such as being late for a non-refundable 500 dollar air plane flight, or losing my wallet. I love to create beauty in the spaces around me, but I unfortunately become very un beautiful in the process. I love to work hard and make things better than how I found them. I am not perfect, however I am determined to become practically perfect in every way, just like Marry Poppins, minus the hat.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. I was taught to love God and that I was his child. I was taught to pray, study God's words, and treat others as Jesus would treat them. I have never known anything else. I have never chosen another path, because no other path promises the happiness I already feel. I know that following a prophet of God has made me happy, and has given my life meaning. So I am a mormon because I was born into it, but I live it because it is who I am, and what I know to be the only way to true happiness.

How I live my faith

I wake up every day. I treat others kindly, and if I have an off day, I ask for forgiveness. I search for others in need, and I help them. I pray for guidance from a Father in Heaven, and I keep his commandments. I have given birth to five wiggle worms and I do my best to teach them who they are and what God expects of them. I am married and I love my husband. Living how you believe is mostly made up of simple little things. In between it all I clean up messes, burn dinners, misplace things, sometimes stick my foot in my mouth, and try to laugh and keep a good outlook. Living my faith is PART of living. It is what makes life worth living.
