Hi I'm Coltyn

I am 18. I'm a drummer. I've been called to serve the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in a lot of different places, including Spain. I live in a small town in western Washingon. I'm highly involved in everything musical. I play drums, guitar, ukulele and piano. I have been called to serve in the Brazil, Porto Alegre North mission. I have a small family of two loving parents, and two sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been in the church my whole life. I've grown up with a testimony of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that they love me and that they want me to be happy. This church has helped me throughout my life. Whenever i'm having trouble, I know that I can always get on my knees and pray for help, and I know that God will answer my prayers. My testimony is what makes me who I am, and I know how important it is to have a strong testimony in this ever-changing world. The atonement of Jesus Christ is there to help me whenever I mess up, so that I can repent and be forgiven. Every week, I attend church and it is the best time to feel the spirit and become closer to my Heavenly Father. I love this church and all of it's teachings, I know that it is the only true church on this Earth, this is one of the many things that inspires me to share the Gospel with anyone who's curious about it. I know The Book of Mormon is true, and was translated by the first of the Latter-Day prophets, Joseph Smith. Knowing this gives me comfort and that, is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a Elder in my ward, and everyday I am preparing myself to serve my full-time mission. This can be as simply as reading my scriptures and praying everyday. I love to share my beliefs with anyone who has a desire to know them. I try to be a good example to everyone and show what I believe. I love helping out the younger men in my ward by encouraging them and sharing my testimony with them. I try my best to live worthily to carry out priesthood ordinances, in order to bless other's lives and bring them closer to their Savior and Redeemer.
