Hi I'm J.J.

I work in Renewable Energy and I like drifting cars. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like cars and just started drifting at racetracks. I graduated in Business and am an entrepreneur. I have a wonderful wife and can't wait to have kids. Exercising is a important to me and I love soccer and wrestling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family that went to church. We always went to church and as time progressed I learned the important influence music has on teaching truth. When we speak we do not frequently get to speak in unison our belief or feelings, however, music allows many people to speak that same words together. Being one voice among thousands singing the words about the love of the Savior or how Prophets live brings truth to my mind. Through song I have gained many truths about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My wife and I worked in the nursery with babies for two years. Through this experience we learned how wonderful children are. Often we read the scriptures and hear lessons in church but it is sometimes difficult to see the fruits of those teachings. In nursery my wife and I were able to see young children (18 months to 3 years) live principles of truth. They learned to share, comfort others when sad (hugs), play together, take turns, and even tell others how nice they look (dresses, necklaces, shoes, etc.). By spending time with little children I have seen the gospel in its simple truth. They taught me more than I was ever able to teach them.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

J.J.
The Savior went to John the Baptist who had the authority to baptize. We likewise need the proper authority or priesthood to perform a valid baptism. If the Savior sought out proper authority we likewise need to follow his example. Show more Show less
