Hi I'm Troy

I'm a husband, a father, an engineer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father to two sons whom I loved dearly. It's amazing to see how much they love each other despite there 7-year age difference. They are truly brothers. I'm also an engineer working on making our internet even faster. I love seeing how the internet has brought so much convenience and good to our lives. I also love keeping up with scientific discoveries being made today which will help us build a better world tomorrow.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life. But, just like everyone else, I had to go through the stage of asking if I was born into the correct church. In the Bible in Ephesians 4:5 it says: "One Lord, one faith, one baptism." Is it possible that I was born into the "one faith" Paul was referring to? After much studying, pondering and prayer, over time I have come to know that I was born into the one true faith. I am grateful to have been born into the church. I have been blessed by keeping true to principles taught by it's leaders.

How I live my faith

I teach the Cub Scouts in our ward. I'm so happy with the programs that the church has. I can see how they help my sons in growing in the gospel. I'm happy to help teach these principles to other young boys. It's great to have a place where boys of similar ages can come together and strengthen one another in faith. I study the scriptures and pray, both by myself and as a family. This helps us keep on the straight and narrow.
