Hi I'm Joe

I grew up in Idaho. I enjoy photography, hiking, mountain biking, and the outdoors. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my free time I enjoy spending time in the outdoors mountain biking and hiking. Being outdoors is more rewarding when I'm with my wife and children. Often I find myself alone visiting some of God's greatest creations and feel his love for me, he has provided some real treasures that I consider gifts. I'm an electrical engineer and enjoy my work, which I believe improves the lives of tens of thousands of individuals.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was raised in a wonderful family who taught me important lessons in integrity, honesty, hard work, stewardship for God's creations, and a love of the Savior. I continue to practice my religion today because I know it's true and because I know that following the Savior will take me from an ordinary man to an extraordinary individual. Each and every time I have exercised faith to be more like Jesus I have become a better individual - more capable, confident, and able to affect positive change in my friends and family. What I enjoy in life is a result of my membership in the church and practicing the gospel as taught by Jesus and his prophets, both modern and ancient.

How I live my faith

I find great joy working with others to serve needs within the community. I am always filled with love, gratitude, and a sense of unity with God's children when I work with others to provide for those who may be in need.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Prayer and service draw me close to my Father in Heaven. Through regular, ongoing personal prayer I can build a relationship and know his will for me. When I help and serve others I am blessed with an increased measure of love for my fellow man, which helps me understand his love for each of us. Show more Show less
