Hi I'm David

I'm a father of 3 adopted children. I'm a grandfather of 4 beautiful grandsons. I work with at risk youth. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy gardening, flower arranging and friends and family. At college studied geography. I've owned businesses most of my life. I've been married for 35 years to my bride.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the holy spirit witness to me time and time again that Jesus Christ's gospel is the truth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who restored God's priesthood and gospel to the earth in a time of confusion of religious beliefs. I know that we have a prophet on earth today. I feel so thankful that I can be with my family forever after this lifetime. I know the Book of Mormon is truth's written by prophets on this continent and can bring each of us closer to our Lord Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I teach a class once a month for men in the church. I coordinate visits to others in our church meeting any needs they may have. I enjoy going to church every Sunday with family and friends. I enjoy talking about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I encourage you to envite the LDS missionaries into your home to answer questions you may have about the Church. I enjoy have the LDS missionaries over for dinner and discussions!

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

I would not have my beautiful children today if their birth mothers had chosen abortion instead of adoption. They have each made a difference; touching the world and others' lives and will continue to do so throughout their life. I want to personally thank each of my adopted children's birth parents for making a prayerful choice. Show more Show less
