Hi I'm Jami

I teach high school, I am the mother of five children, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach high school and I am currently working on my principal certification. I am a wife and mother. I love to read, and I will read almost anything except science fiction and fantasy. I love volleyball and swimming, but don't like anything that requires me to run. Photography and Scrapbooking are my favorite hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the blessings having the gospel in life brings to me. I am grateful for the relationship that I have with Jesus Christ, my Savior. I know that through His atonement, I can be forgiven of my sins. I know that thru the Prophet Joseph Smith the fulness of the gospel was restored to the earth, and the Book of Mormon was translated. I know that Heavenly Father continues to lead and guide us thru a living prophet today. I know that I am never alone because I have the Holy Ghost with me always. I am so happy to have a loving Father in heaven and a Savior that loves me enough to suffer and die for me. I wake up everyday excited about what lies ahead, because I understand the plan of salvation and the blessings waiting me.

How I live my faith

I teach the adult Sunday School class each week. We are studying the New Testament this year. It is a joy to learn about the Savior and share it each week with others. I also enjoy helping as a merit badge counselor for Boy Scouts.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Jami
Serving a mission is voluntary. Young men can serve when they are nineteen, young women when they are twenty one. Elderly couples can also serve once they reach retirement age. Show more Show less
