Hi I'm Tim

I'm a husband & father. I'm a Hoosier. I graduated from Notre Dame. I'm an aspiring entrepreneur. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband who has a wonderful and intelligent wife. Together we have two beautiful little children. I am a marketer by trade, recently graduated from Notre Dame Business School, and I am beginning a new phase in life as an entrepreneur. I love the outdoors, which is one of the reasons I loved my undergrad at BYU-Idaho (but the most important reason is because I met my wife) and one way I try and ensure the outdoors are apart of my life everyday is by biking to work as much as possible. The other way I try to get outside is through being as involved in Boy Scouts as I can with helping out our local troop.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. I was raised in a loving home and had many things available to me. But, in the end, whether or not I was too follow the Savior was up to me. I had to choose for myself if I knew that God sent his Son Jesus Christ as our Savior. I had to find out for myself if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and if the Book of Mormon was true. One day I was struggling with somethings in my life about a year before my mission and before I headed off to school. I needed the Lords help and as I was on a 10 mile bike ride to work I prayed the entire time. I knew by the end of the ride that the Lord loved me and that as I repent that the Lord would forgive me. I knew more than ever that day that the Gospel was true. I know that the Savior loves us all and that he has a plan for us. As we follow him our burdens will be made light and we will be able to return to live with him again someday.

How I live my faith

As a father of two, getting to come home to the shouts of "Daddy" at the end of everyday refreshes and energizes me. This love that I feel from my children is only compounded as I great my wife. I live my faith through being an example to my children and trying to ensure that my wife and I fulfill the covenants we made in the Temple that if we were faithful that the Lord would bless us with an eternal marriage. These covenants drive me everyday. I work hard to ensure that each day I honor what I have been given by being honest and by trying to help those who stand in need.
