Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a missionary. I'm serving the people in Anaheim, CA. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 20 years old and currently serving a mission in Anaheim, California. I'm also learning Portuguese so that I can teach the gospel to the people of Brazil someday. It's not the easiest thing I've ever done, but it's definitely worth it. The gospel of Jesus Christ has made me happier than I ever thought possible. I'm serving a mission so that I can share that happiness with others. I love my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. They've truly changed my life for the better.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. When missionaries came knocking on my door 6 years ago they told me that the only way to know of spiritual truths was to pray and ask God. So that's exactly what I did! I read the Book of Mormon. I prayed and asked, and now I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that it is true. That witness that I received from the Holy Ghost is something that I can never deny. Living the principles that Jesus Christ teaches in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon has brought me so much joy. I know that through the sacrifice that Christ made for us and our own obedience we can all become clean from sin and live with God again.

How I live my faith

I basically live my faith by trying to be an example and inviting others to come unto Christ. If others can see how happy the gospel makes me, then others will naturally want that for themselves. I try to be kind to everyone. I try also to keep all of the commandments to the best of my ability. Studying the words of Christ in the scriptures is the main source of strength for me, along with prayer. Heavenly Father will play a VERY active role in our lives if we just let Him.
