Hi I'm Ryan

I am a very active 16 year old. I am currently doing online school and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

To start my name is Ryan S. (out of the five Ryans in my ward). i am 16 years old and about 7 months away from turning 17. I LOVE doing anything physical whether its doing a hike with my scout troop to just playing a game of street football with my brothers. I also love to read( i know weird combo), and of course like any young man, i love video games.

Why I am a Mormon

When the missionaries first started coming to my house I'll admit, I was anti-church. But when They continued to visit and really showed me that they cared about each and every one of His children, i agreed to come to church. And much to my own surprise, When i went on sunday, I felt at home and i felt like i belonged. I continued on to get baptised at the age of 14, and i have loved every moment of my being a part of the church. I know that this is the Lords church on the earth. I know that we have a true and living prophet on this earth, Thomas S Monson. And thanks to my Heavenly father, i know im in the right place.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be a worthy preisthood holder. I try to fufill my calling to the best of my ability, always striving to do better.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Ryan
We donate this 10 percent of our income as tithing. We pay the tithing so that the church can have the funds to make more copys of the book of mormon, to make more temple and meeting houses, and most importantly so that we can help countrys that are in need, such as Haiti, aftyer the earthquake. It is a huge blessing when we can pay it, and it truly is part of the lords work on this earth. Show more Show less
