Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in Missouri, I am the oldest of six kids, I'm a wife, I'm a student, I'm a pet lover and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Danielle and I've been married to my wonderful husband for a little over a year now. I'm a student finally finishing up my Associates degree and considering on whether or not to get a Bachelors. I baby sit occasionally but I'm also working on building up a part time business. We have two cats, a kitten, and a dog. It's a long story on how we ended up with each of them. I love to craft and make things in my spare time. I'm not very good at sewing or think I'm the best at making things but I love it so I'll probably never stop. I'm getting into making my own beauty and health products, I'm really liking that idea of improving our health in that way. I like gardening but honestly I'm not very good at it. I love to read when I have time. Mostly my husband and I like to listen to audio books as we do things around the house. So this is me and what my life kinda is.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and I think I first began having a testimony when I was a teenager. When I was eighteen I did fall away from the church for a while but not because I didn't believe the gospel, it was mostly because I felt so shameful about what I did and I didn't quite understand the principles of the gospel to be able to help me at that time. After two years of being away my life was not good to say the least. I wasn't making enough money to really live, my friends I realized weren't really my friends and the relationship that I was in was harmful. I felt very much alone and I didn't know what to do. I think what started to turn me around was my mom calling me and telling me that my little eight year old sister was praying for me. A few months later I moved home and started over. I was done living that life. The gospel brought me more freedom living the teachings than not. It reminded me of who I was, I am a child of God and he really loves me. That Jesus did die for me so that if I made a mistake that was not the end for me. I can say that every faith I have studied have some truth to it. This gospel though I know has all of the truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good family member and friend. I fulfill my calling to visit other sisters in my ward every month. I work with the younger girls ages twelve to thirteen in my ward by teaching them and helping them in their activities. I strive to live my life in a way that is pleasing to the Savior and my Heavenly Father.
