Hi I'm Dale

I am a Mormon. I grew up in St. Anthony, Idaho. I have not always been active in the Church. But, I am now!

About Me

I was born into a very religious, active LDS family. At one time or another, my father was a Bishop and member of a Stake Presidency. At the age of 13, my father passed away during surgery for a brain tumor in Salt Lake City. That was very hard for me. During my later years in High School and through my early adult years, I rebelled against every thing that I knew was true. I married at a very age, got divorced, and had to go through treatment for alcohol addiction. I remarried to a very beautiful lady in Salt Lake City. After 1+ years, we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. We have a blended family with children from my wife's first marriage, children from my first marriage and a daughter from our current and eternal marriage. All our children are active in the Church except my oldest son from my first marriage who has decided that he is not interested in the gospel at this time. We have lived in Utah, Wyoming, California and Arizona. I have since held responsible positions in the Church. I have always been employed doing construction management work in the states that we have lived. Now, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is our life. We always make sure that the people that we meet know who we are and what we stand for. We would like all to know that we are Christians and that we are not a cult. We believe in an eternal family and look forward to spending the rest of eternity with our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and baptized into the Church. I am a current active Mormon because I know that we were created by our Heavenly Father, that I therefore I am a child of God. We have a purpose here on earth and if we live worthily and keep his commandments we can return to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the rest of our worthy family members. The Church has always been a place where we could meet and associate with active members that believe the same as we do. The Church does so many things for people around the world. Our welfare program has helped people in all the countries that allow us. This is because we believe in Charity. Charity is the love of God. I belive in the restoration on the Church in these latter days by Joseph Smith. This was necessary because so much of the true church had become corrupt. The Book of Mormon that was translated by Joseph Smith is another book that clarifies the Bible and is another testament of the Bible. There is no other book that is more truthful than the Book of Mormon. Read it, pray about it and see that you will believe that it is true. We are lead by living prophets. They tell us what we need to do to return to our Heavenly Father. No other Church has the same organization and teaches the same undiluted principles as those taught by Jesus Christ during his ministery. I say this in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher in our Gospel Doctrine class, This is a pleasure. I am also a secretary in our local High Priest Group. I also do home teaching in our ward. We pay special attention to the single, unmarried ladies in our ward. We try to help do the things that they cannot do. I am involved in local community projects through the Church. I serve as often as possible in the local Church cannery and our Temple cafeteria. I pay Fast Offerings that aid those in need. This is all done because I believe in trying to help others because I have so much. Not money, but blessings!
