Hi I'm Noah :D

I enjoy naturalistic energy healing, I'm studying to become a marriage and family therapist, I love Cthulhu, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After dropping out of college I began dating my now wife. Soon we will return to college. I will be studying Marriage and family therapies. I've wanted to work in this field because I myself have been through therapy and seen how much it helps me. I also strongly believe in naturalistic energy healing. I had some energy work done while I was going through therapy. Those two things working together helped me through a lot. I feel there is as strong link between energy work and spiritual matters. I have done some studying on energy healing and I myself now do energy work on others. I wish to learn more about it and the different types of energy work such as Pranic Healing and Reiki. I have also done a lot of acting and hope to one day to start a theater therapy program. Theater is one way to express and explore yourself and I've loved doing it for many years. Along with that I also love singing, dancing, and play writing. I've written two plays that we're performed by professional actors. My favorite hobbies include playing and designing boardgames and table top role playing games! I usually like them to be set in an apocalyptic, macabre, or Lovecraftian setting. H.P. Lovecraft is my favorite writer especially his work entitled Call of Cthulhu. My other hobbies include retro video games, zombies, and writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and lived it through until high school where I decided I no longer wanted to be part of the church. After living my life that way and making some mistakes I decided I might at least try applying to college. After being accepted to college and attending I decided that the Mormon church wasn't so bad. So I decided to serve a full-time service mission. I served for two years. There my faith was tested in a way it never had before but through all of it i realized who God was and how much he loved me for the first time. The experience, as hard as it was, was worth it. As far as Mormon's go I'm pretty liberal. But i discovered that because of Jesus Christ I don't have to suffer the way I thought I did. It is by him that we are saved. Now I'm going to soon be getting married and returning to college. For the first time in my life I feel like a worthy man who deserves the blessings I've been given because God loves me. I know the Gospel as it is written in the Bible and Book of Mormon is true. God loves us and Jesus Christ died and suffered for every single one of us. The most important thing I learned is that it isn't about being perfect in everyone's eyes. It's about being the true person you are with God! I know who that man is, God and Christ know who that man is, and my wife knows who that man is! I love him. and I love my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I apply my faith by knowing that I make decisions and God approves them. I can't depend on god to make ever single decision for my. There have been two to three times where it was very clear from God what he wanted me to do, but most of the time I make choices and i ask him and he approves. I know he loves me because he trusts me. My biggest thought is in the way we view and treat other living things, people especially. I've had my fair share or rude moments but I try and find beauty and blessings in everything because it always exists. The largest part of my testimony is around families. Because we are family with God and Christ we want to live with them forever. Similarly I want to live with my family forever too. One of the most important things to me is getting married here pretty soon. I'm so excited to have someone I love, cherish, and respect by my side forever. and she love's, cherishes, and respects me also. The kind of respect and love we feel for each other should be the way we try and look at everything. Their is love and beauty in everything around us. And I'm so happy to have those thoughts and feelings in my life. Those things are all blessings from God. I know that is true! God loves us all! We should all be striving to live with and love forever. It's the way God and Jesus want it to be!

What is the Law of Chastity?

Noah :D
We believe that the act of sexual intimacy is a beautiful spiritual experience that is to be shared between husband and wife. Too often it is shunned as evil or over exploited thus destroying the beauty of it. There is a happy medium. That medium is within marriage. It is used to express the deepest form of connection and love. When it is treated in a way that makes it lose it's beauty or if it's treated as if its only bad, we lose a special gift from God and we lose a great spiritual binding experience that can be had when used between married couples.
