Hi I'm Nikkita

I'm a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 21 year old college student at BYU. I'm an Exercise Science major, and I have plans to study physical therapy afterward. I hope that one day I will own my own physical therapy clinic. I love being active and exercising and I would love to pursue a career that helps others do the same. I love to stay active all the time. I like sports like running, basketball, swimming, and road biking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old, and I feel that I have gained my testimony gradually as I have grown older. The gospel gives me a sense of purpose, that I know we are all working towards something greater than what we immediately see. I have noticed that I am happier and feel better living the gospel. I believe that Heavenly Father would not leave us alone without modern day revelation, so I have a strong testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith to restore the full gospel to the Earth. Through obedience to His commandments, careful reading, and fervent prayer I continually come to know that this is the restored Church of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because I want to be:)

How I live my faith

I believe that actions speak louder than words, so I try to personally apply gospel principles. Studying at college eats up a lot of my time, but I still try to set aside time to go to the temple, get scripture study in daily, and pray always. I can see that small things like that really add up over time. I served a two year mission in Lima, Peru preaching the gospel full time, where I could see the light of the gospel enter into other's lives on a whole different level. I know that it is something very real.
