Hi I'm Kelsey

I live in Idaho. I love to read, write, sing, and play sports. I write some short stories of my own. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I love to read, write, sing, and play softball, volleyball, basketball, tennis. I live in a family of seven people. My family is a mixed family. My mom, my older sister, and I and my older and younger brothers and my step dad. My little sister we foster care for. All of my siblings have autism. I do not. I volunteer with a Special Olympics team in my area, where my older sister competes. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, and always have a book in my hands.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, to start, my mother was Mormon when I was born, so I was already in the church. As we got older, my sister and I, she has become less active, and I knew I could choose to either become less active or continue being active. I have stayed in the church because I love the peaceful feeling when I learn about Jesus and I learn about the scriptures. I feel that, without Gad in my life, my life would be full of sadness, grief, and depression.

How I live my faith

In my community, I volunteer with my Special Olympics team by working with the people who do not swim, but do the assisted walks, where I walk with them, and the assisted swim, where I walk in front of them while they swim. I help do community projects in my ward and community when my friends and I will get together every Wednesday. I try to maintain a daily habit of scripture study, kinda like reading a book and trying to understand it, and prayer. I attend religious release in my high school and I learn and teach my friends and fellow students about the gospel. I enjoy what I do.
