Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Bountiful, Utah. I am serving a mission in Trujillo, Peru from July 2015 to July 2017. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and the oldest of 3 children. I live in Utah with my two siblings and two parents. I enjoy swimming, boating, and wake surfing. I live for wake surfing. I love to spend time on the lake with my family and friends listening to music and having a good time. I love to read and enjoy school. Upon returning home from my mission in 2017, I will be attending Brigham Young University in Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. I was born and raised a Mormon, but my testimony is much more based on my own experiences and own knowledge. I love the Book of Mormon, and I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. As I read in the Book of Mormon, I am able to strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ and his gospel. Through the Book of Mormon, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know that Thomas S Monson is the proper leader of this church and that Priesthood authority has been restored to the Earth. I am serving a mission because I have seen how this gospel can bless families and individuals. I hope to bring the joy that comes with the gospel to the people of Peru.

How I live my faith

I love attending church and go every week. I currently hold a calling as the piano player for the opening of our Priesthood meeting. I've been a youth leader within my youth groups and I love the people in my ward. I love to sing and participate in my ward choir.
