Hi I'm Phillip John Gray, Sr.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father, Husband and a grandfather. My wife has been the love of my life. I am a scientist that have helped missiles, aircraft and automobiles better for our country. I have been a volunteer with the Boys Scouts for over 30 years. I love to go camping with my wife, camping and riding my Harley Springer.

Why I am a Mormon

My father was Jewish and my Mom was a Catholic. We did not practice any religion except most of my families were Jewish. I grew up a troubled teenage in the 60's and loved surfing and riding my chopper. I married a fantastic California girl and we started having kids right away. Unfortunately my draft number was low and I joined the Air Force right away. My family and I were apart for many months. I was transferred to Idaho. My wife got interested with religion when we were away. I told her I would not live with a religion fanatic. I finely was able to bring my family to the base. We meet two adult missionaries. They started talking about the Book of Mormon and eternal families. The believing blood I was born with helped me to believe in the Church. I read the Book of Mormon straight and gained a close testimony of the truth. We were baptized in Idaho and have never stopped believing since.

How I live my faith

I have volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America for many years. I have also been a volunteer Chaplin at the State Prisons. I want to help youths to to become better people. I do not want them to make mistakes like I did. My Wife and I try to help people that are in need. We try to serve the Lord each day helping everyone. The Lord has helped us and there is no reason not to help others.
