Hi I'm Melissa

Im a mom, wife, a daughter a friend and I'm ad Mormon (the order is subjuct to change:)

About Me

I recently moved into my 8th home and my 6th city in my 12 years of marriage. Although its been hard sometimes, I have loved making life long friends in each of these cities and learning more about myself in the process. I'm the mother of 4 perfect (for me) children. I love being a wife and mother. My children and husband make me laugh and cry (for may different reasons-some better than others) nearly everyday. I feel to blessed to be able to stay home and take are of all of them. I also enjoy photography, music, decorating, shopping, reading, and most sports (although I'm not great at any of them).

Why I am a Mormon

Nothing brings more joy and peace in my life than the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am who I am because of it. It guides me in all areas of my life. It teaches me how I should be. It makes me want to try to be better everyday. And the best part is, it tells me exactly how I can. I am so grateful for the atoning sacrifice of my Savior. For a loving Heavenly Father who wants me to be happy, wants me to be perfect, and because he knows I will keep falling short, has given me so many tools to be a little better each day. I know that with the help of the scriptures, prayer, living prophets, good church leaders, the priesthood, repentance, and the Holy Ghost, he has put me and my family on the road to sucess and happiness.

How I live my faith

I love being involved in church. Over the years I have worked with the children, the adults and the teenagers. Its funny, but the younger they are, the more I seem to learn from them. Right now, I get to teach the 14-15 year old girls. They amaze me each time we are together with how strong, smart and faithful they are. My calling as a mother is the biggest way I live my faith. I am so blessed that Heavenly Father has allowed me to take care of 4 of his precious children. They soak up everything I say and DO! (Which can be a little scarry). I love teaching them about Jesus and how he wants us to live. I pray everyday that I will do them justice and they will feel the love of our Savior.
