Hi I'm Jade

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. I grew up in Southern California.

About Me

I am the father of five fantastic children, have two beutiful grandchildren and I'm married to the most beautiful woman in California. Our family loves the beach, camping, water sports, skiing, hiking, bike riding and traveling. My boys and I also love off-roading, shooting and paintball, yet my daughters are equal to the task. Our children have all played soccer. Other individual sports include water polo, westling, gymnastics, baseball, tennis, and cross country. My wife enjoys running. I support all of them as a highly skilled spectator.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Since I was a child I have always known of his love for me and that my Heavenly Father has need of me in His kingdom through my mother's teachings and faith. Ths Gospel of Jesus Christ is complete and here upon the Earth and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints embodies all of the entire teachings of the Saviour. Only through His teachings and ordinances can we live with Him forever and fulfill our full measure of creation. Living the complete Gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness to me and my family. In this day and age of evil being accepted as normal, the Gospel becomes even more important as a standard against the evil ideals so commonly accepted by society. Living the Gospel somteimes requires courage. However, solid moral character requires refining, courage, conviction and obediance to God's laws.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church, it is important to be "actively engaged in a good cause". By giving of the talents, skills and blessing given to me, I am attempting to repay our Heavenly Father for the rich blessings given to me. Serving in various capacities builds experience and character. What others see in me is more important than what they hear from me. I try to make sure my actions exemplify the Lord's teachings despite my shortcomings.
