Hi I'm Errika

I grew up in Austin, Texas. I have one twin sister. I attend BYU-Hawaii. I love animals, the ocean, and travel. And Im a Mormon.

About Me

I have completed a little over a year of college at BYU-Hawaii currently as a Marine Biology major. I will be leaving my home and my family for the next year and a half of my life to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Angeles Philippines Mission. I grew up in Austin, Texas and miss the south everyday. I love animals, the ocean, different cultures, and travel. I love almost all kinds of music but I especially love country! I also know almost every word to every disney song there is. I love spending time outside and having adventures. I can't wait to see what is in store for me in the upcoming years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was first a mormon because i was born into the church, but as i got older I found that I am a mormon because I have witnessed the Lords blessings and I have felt the spirit of the Holy Ghost. I also believe in the values and the morals that we chose to live by to have a happier life. I love the fact that I can be with my family for all eternity. I also love all the good examples that everyone gives and sets for each other. I am a mormon because i believe that there is a living prophet and the Lord love's me. I believe that we are all Gods children and that he loves us all and wants to be with all of us once again.

How I live my faith

I strive to attend church on Sundays for three hours. I read at least one verse out of the Bible or the Book of Mormon at least once a day. I also enjoy reading talks from our church leaders. Since I have been preparing to serve a mission for my church I have been completing a more vigorous study from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I also strive to be more modest by wearing clothes that go to the knee and cover my shoulders. Some of the callings I have had in my church have included teaching lessons for my peers and organizing volunteer opportunities in my community such as volunteering at the local hospital and retirement center.
