Hi I'm Emily

I am growing up in a family of seven. Right now I'm a Senior in High School and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing. I play the viola, the piano, and a little bit of the violin. I enjoy helping elementary kids with their schoolwork.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of this Church and chose to be baptized at age 8. My father baptized me and I remember that I came up out of the water and there was a natural smile on my face. It was the right thing to do. I continue to be a Mormon because of all the many blessings God has given me. I know I owe so much to Him; He is the reason I exist. I know that the things taught in this Church are eternal truths, and it is God's law that is taught in this Church. Christ is my Savior, He has healed me, and He has forgiven me of sins and is constantly inviting me to repent of mistakes so I can become more like Him. I love Him and there is no doubt in my being that He loves me. When I get Priesthood Blessings, I am able to feel and know how close He is to me and how mindful He and my Father in Heaven are of me. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that his works were good. I know God gives us revelation through His living prophet and church leaders in these latter days. I know that God gives us so much grace and wants us to do all we can to improve ourselves and come closer to Him. He will make up the difference. I know that some day I'll be ressurected and that there is an afterlife. Christ is my Savior. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I am a cousellor in Young Womens. I help plan activities for the young men and young women in our ward for mutual nights, which is a time for us to get together, learn new things, and make good friends. I don't say curse words. I attend Seminary. I smile and try to be nice to others. I pray, read scriptures, and don't do drugs.
