Hi I'm Cliff Barber

I love life...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Cliff and I love being outdoors. My wife and I have seven lovely children and we have several wonderful grand children. I ride cutting horses and we enjoy traveling to show the horses. I have shared my love of the outdoors with many young people as a scout master and leader of older young men in the scouting programs. I have had a rewarding and challenging career in real estate development in the western United States.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a witness that the Savior Jesus Christ has again restored his church to the earth. My religion influences every aspect of my life and gives me an eternal perspective on the events that happen in my daily life. My faith brought me great comfort when my mother passed away a few years ago, because I know that my relationship with her will continue in the life after this, and that I will have my wife and my children with me for eternity. All of this is possible because of the atoning gift of the Savior and the restoration of the full gospel to his children on the earth. I read the Bible and strive to abide by its’ teachings. The Book of Mormon is also a testament of Jesus Christ and brings a clarity and conviction of His divinity that I get from no other source.

How I live my faith

The zest that I have for life is founded in my faith. I look forward to each new morning as an opportunity to enjoy life on this earth, which life is a blessing from God. I enjoy giving service to my fellow man and am involved in charity work on a regular basis. I have two families in my neighborhood that I visit on a monthly basis to check on their welfare and offer assistance in any way that I can help them. I have spent many years leading and teaching young people, and it is always a thrill to meet them later and see the progress that they are making in their lives and the good choices that they are making in their education, careers and families that will insure their success and happiness.
