Hi I'm Meagan

I raise two little boys with my high school sweetheart. I have a rockin' Elvis kitchen in my home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in a family with five sisters. I'm great at lip syncing to songs, and I love corn dogs. I am a mother of two little boys, and was on bed rest for each pregnancy for about four months. I have been an Elvis fan since I was nine, and I have all his movies, a few barbie dolls and some old records. My mom took me and my little sister to Graceland after graduation from high school. I met my husband when I was sixteen. He is my best friend, my first kiss, and the cheese to my macaroni. We have been happily married for almost five years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. Over the years I have gained a love for my Savior, and I believe in the power of prayer. I know that Heavenly Father is always there and that He hears me and He knows and loves me. What I love about this church is that we have modern day prophets that lead His church today. I love listening to our living day prophet and feeling like I can strive to be a better person. I know this church is true because I have prayed about it and I had the warmest happiest feeling come over me. The gospel makes me happy, and helps me become more like my Savior.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I live by my faith everyday not just on Sundays. As a family we pray and read scriptures together each day. Once a month the sisters in the ward go visiting teaching to other sisters in the ward and share a message--and to help each other out. In the church, you have instant friends. In my ward, I am the nursery coordinator. The young children ages 18 months to 3 years go to Nursery, where they have play time, lesson time, snack time, and music time. I make sure there are snacks for them and the teachers are in the classrooms. I love seeing the kids learn about Jesus and his teachings, and learn church songs.
