Hi I'm Chase

I read a lot and climb things. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old and I currently attend Brigham Young University. My interests include reading, swimming, climbing, movies, video games, racquetball, and spending time with my two chocolate labradors and my family. In 2011, however, I gave all of these things up for two years to serve as a missionary for my church. I spent two years in Sao Paulo, Brazil, helping people come unto Christ through faith, repentance, baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. I returned in August 2013, and resumed my studies at BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I'm a Mormon - the most important of which is that God has manifested to me through the power of the Holy Ghost that this Church is true, and that through it I can live with my family in Heaven for all eternity. Another reason is that as I grew up in the Church, it was easy to see how the Gospel of Jesus Christ blessed those around me. The greatest examples were my parents - more than anything, I want to grow up to be like them, and I know that they got to where they are through the Gospel. Lastly, through personal experience I know that how happy I am is directly connected to how closely I am following the commandments set forth in the scriptures and through modern day revelation.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live up to my Heavenly Father's divine expectations for me. I know that He knows my full potential, and I want to reach it. I can do that by living the commandments He has set forth and following the perfect example of His Son, Jesus Christ.
