Hi I'm Kevin

I love my family, work hard everyday, like dirt bikes, snow skiing, cars, and the great outdoors... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on Dairy Farm in Central, Washington and am the oldest of seven kids. After high school I went on a mission for the Church to Puerto Rico for two years. After the mission I came home and went to Ricks College for two years graduating with my associates degree, then went to Washington State University in Pullman, WA. While in college my wife & I had to work to put ourselves through college with no help. We were able to do so with no government loans, our first child Sydney was born while we were at WSU... My wife & I graduated from there with our bachelors degrees. I took a job in Southern Idaho working for a dairy food company. My wife & I lived in Idaho for five years, with most of the time in the Magic Valley. While in Idaho our family grew with the addition of two more daughters. We moved to the Northwest part of Washington after I started another with a new Dairy Food Company. After a little over two years I change Dairy companies and have settled into my job as a Plant Manager for a local dairy company. I have been there for almost four years and am enjoying it! Our family has also grown again with the addition of two boys.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is TRUE! I have studied many religions, discussed many different opinions, but to be a Mormon requires one to study the religion a little... sometime a lot, pray-- asking God whether or not this is his church, and I had to be patient repeating the process of studying and praying and through the Holy Ghost, which presents itself more in feelings, a strong feeling of home, surety, joy, love... at least that is what I felt and that has been reassured again and again, I know that this is his church. For others this experience can be different. So my simple answer is because its TRUE. And anyone who really wants to know can find out on their own, just take that leap of Faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time, helping others like my neighbors, co-workers, trying to set a good example like Jesus Christ did. I am not perfect, but I try everyday to live as my Savior would want me to. I also try to be involved in the community by coaching my daughter's volley ball team, by donating what we can to those in need, by being active in our country's politics... what we Americans need are good active common sense citizens who will vote for good people. For myself, there is always a lot of room for improvement.
