Hi I'm Marla

I grew up in Ohio. I'm a wife, a registered nurse, a mother of 5 adult children and a grandmother of 6 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 5 adult children and I have 6 grandchildren. I am also a registered nurse working in a high school that supports a special program for adolescents with substance abuses. I love to sew for my family and also make dolls and dolls clothes.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that my Heavenly Father has helped me many times in my life. I know that he answers prayers and has answered many of mine. He has answered even the smallest concerns. I believe in Jesus Christ and that he lived and taught the gospel upon this earth. I believe that he atoned for us and sacrificed his life so that I could also be resurrected and return to live with my Father in Heaven someday and to be with other family members that have passed on. I am thankful that I have been taught and understand prayer, hope, charity and service. I am very grateful to have goodly parents who have taught me the gospel in my youth and through that I have gained my testimony of the truthfulness of the Savior's work here upon this earth.

How I live my faith

I was born a member of the church and grew up in the faith. Since I was 12 years old, I have been asked to serve in the church in a music capacity, either playing the piano or directing a choir. I currently direct the music for our Sunday Meetings. I am thankful that my parents encouraged and supported me to take music lessons early in life. I try to live my life as the Savior has taught: to serve others to be kind and to be an example as he was.
