Hi I'm Caroline Lamoreaux

I grew up in Tucson, AZ raised by a deaf mother and a deaf father. I now have a great husband and 5 children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a part member home. My parents are deaf.I have 2 younger twin sisters and an older brother. When I was about 10 years old the sister missionaries challenged my father (who was not a member at the time) to take the discussions. He soon made the decision to be baptized and after many years of inactivity he is now the local Deaf branch President. I attended a high school with very few members of the church. Many of the friends I made were not members of the church. My high school years were full of trials and tests. Some of which I passed, some of which I did not. Through the power of the atonement, because of my brother Jesus Christ, I am who I am today. I am married to an amazing man forever and we had 5 kids in 6 1/2 years. My family brings me the most happiness and continues to teach me how to grow and be a better person every day. I am a mother and a wife first and always. Every now and then I have the opportunity to interact with all sorts of people as a video relay interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was raised attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I believe that I have CHOSEN to follow his gospel and live as He would have me live. My life experiences on this earth have helped me be an unwavering follower of His church. It is the light by which we can return to Him and have everlasting life filled with happiness. I know that our Heavenly Father knows each one of us, He loves us, and because He loves us, He provided a way for his true gospel to be restored on the earth. I KNOW a young boy by the name of Joseph Smith was called of God to bring us the gospel so we may be guided and directed in the way of happiness on this earth. The fullness of the gospel is here. We have temples. I know them to be sacred houses of the Lord. There is no other place on this earth to feel closer to our Father in Heaven and Savior than inside the temple. I have had clear, direct answers to my prayers inside this place. I have never felt more free and never had a more clear direction given to me before in my life as I do now, living the true church of Jesus Christ. Join me......and be truly happy forever.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to serve my church with the youth of the church. Specifically young children and teenagers. They are an amazing group and have truly been preserved for this time on earth. My husband has served in positions that have taken much of his time away from our family, however, I would not have him be anywhere else but serving the Lord and doing all he can to bring people closer to Christ. That is a large way I live my faith at this moment in time. I can only show the light of Christ by the way I act. I am heavily involved at my children's school and even the few times I go to work I am presented with opportunities to be an example of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
