Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a volleyball player, I'm a singer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a daughter of amazing parents. I'm the youngest of 5 children, which was crazy growing up, but I couldn't ask for a better family. I currently attend community college but plan to transfer to Brigham Young University-Idaho in the Fall of 2014. I work part time at Red Robin as a host and love meeting and interacting with new people everyday. I have one niece and four nephews (with one on the way!!) and I love them more than words can explain. I love life and can't see what the future holds for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I was raised to believe that this is the true church, but I do know it for myself. Our Savior gives me peace when I read the scriptures and pray, joy in our meetings, and He provides a hand that lifts me up just when I think I'm down for good. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for me, and for all of us. He understands and has felt the same pain and temptations that I have felt and will ever feel. He comforts me, encircles me in loving arms, and saves me from all storms. I love my Savior. I know that Joseph Smith truly was visited by our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Being guided through revelation, he found, translated, and shared the Book of Mormon with the world. I know that the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God and I'm grateful to have the blessing of it in my life. I know that our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is a man of God. He is the Lord's mouth-piece to us in this difficult time. I love my Savior. I would be lost without Him. I love this gospel. It is truly the church of Christ and I'm grateful to be apart of it.

How I live my faith

I attend a Young Single Adult ward which is exactly what it sounds like. I go to church with other young adults in my area. In this ward, I work with our missionaries to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve the members of the ward. I love teaching others about our church and the true happiness that comes along with it. I live my faith by setting an example to those I come in contact with. As a member of the church, I believe that it is one of my duties to set an example of Jesus Christ. I am friends with many who don't believe in the same things that I do, but I respect their beliefs, love them, and just set an example of what I believe is right. I will never deny the truthfulness of the Gospel.
