Hi I'm Bonnie

I was born and raised in Arizona. I am the mother of 7 and the grandmother of 20. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family where my mother and father were converts to the church. They worked hard to support their kids in everything that they did and I wanted to be like them. I was able to marry a good man and we were able to have 7 children. We have always worked together as a husband and wife to raise our children. I love music and one Christmas we bought all of our kids violins for Christmas. We taught all our kids how to play some fiddle tunes and as a family went and entertained people in Arizona. They loved seeing a family working and playing together. Since that time most of our kids have married and have kids of their own and they still love when we get together to play music together.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is the most important thing to me on earth. The gospel and the love of our Savior Jesus Christ has given us a way for our family to be together forever. Through a prophet, Joseph Smith, the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored back upon the earth. The priesthood, or authority to act in Gods name along with the ordinances that are required to return to our Heavenly Father were restored. Temples are built that bind families for eternity and give us the opportunity to have family relationships after we die. I know that after we die we go back to our Father and His Son Jesus Christ. We well see again those that have died before us and our relationships will continue.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to be a friend to those that I meet. Our house has always been open to those that need to talk or escape from whatever trials they might be dealing with. We have tried to teach our children to be honest and kind. We have met many people that live by us that we have been able to get to know and serve. We have also been the receiver of much service when we have been sick or needed help. Through the women's organization of the church I have been able to help organize many service projects that have helped feed and clothe people in our community. I have also been able to help teach the youth how to be honest and to stand up and be a good example for others to follow. I look forward to continue to help plan and organize events to help others.
