Hi I'm Kristy

I grew up in Florida. I play volleyball. I help take care of my family house hold. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am number five in a family of seven children. I am now in high school, and I help take care of my family. I like to play volleyball and read in my spare time. Also, I run in the mornings. Some people might find this weird, but I almost like to do the dishes. I cook dinner for my family almost every night. I want to go to Bringham Young University in Utah or Idaho when I get older. I hope to become a chef or a cake decorator as well. This is me, Kristy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I have grown to have my own testimony of the church. I love this church and what it teaches. I enjoy going to church every Sunday, and I cannot wait for Wednesdays to come around so I can go to mutual and learn more. The church has taught me so much, and it has helped me a lot in my life. What really helps me is reading the scripture, mainly the Book of Mormon. When I really study and read the scriptures, I feel so calm and peaceful. I just know the Book of Mormon is true, and I know the church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by listening and following the Prophet and the Apostle's counsel. I read my scriptures twice a day, and I try to find revelation and understanding in the scriptures. I also follow the For Strength of Youth pamphlet, a guide for youth about how to live and follow the church's standards. I go to church and mutual, a gathering of youth during the week to talk about or learn about the church, and I feel the spirit in church. I live my faith because I know it is true.
