Hi I'm Ted Cox

I'm a Mormon, a father,a grandfather and an avid genealogist. a former scoutmaster born and raised in the west..

About Me

I love searching out my family history and helping others find their ancestors. I love finding out who my ancestors were and their stories. I enjoy writing down their stories before they are lost and gone forever. I am a Cold War Navy Submarine Veteran. I was a Naval Nuclear Reactor Operator. I retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. I am a former Scoutmaster and a Father of and Grandfather of Eagle Scouts. One Sunday when I was a Freshman in High School, I saw a young lady who was talking to my sister. I was impressed with her beauty. I walked up to my mother who was talking to a lady I did not know, I told them both boldly that I had found the one I was going to marry. The woman who happened to be her mother never let me forget the promise when I married her 5 years later. We have been married 44 wonderful years and we have 7 children 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. What a wonderful life.

Why I am a Mormon

In our church we believe Families are for ever. When we were married we were sealed together for Time and All Eternity. We believe that Jesus Christ lives and directs his church here upon the earth through his prophet. This means to me that He has not forgotten us. He loves us. We are children of god and by living His teachings we will retunto live with him in the future.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by treating my neighbors as Jeasus would treat them. I study the scriptures to learn how to live as he would have me do.
