Hi I'm Ty

I am a dad a small business owner a team roper. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in rural Arizona. After high school I lived for two years in Japan as a mormon missionary. I am now married me and my wife have three beautiful kids. In 2007 a friend of mine and I started a business. We originally did only ornamental wrought iron for residential homes but we now do all kinds of metal fabrication. I started roping and competing in rodeos from a very early age. It was something that my family did together when I was a kid and is something that I enjoy doing with my kids as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe this church to be Christs Church. When I apply the lessons that I learn at His Church they bring peace and joy into this hectic fast paced life that we live. Feeling that joy and comfort from His teachings makes me want to be a better person and makes me want to pass it along to my children and those around me.

How I live my faith

I am a youth leader for boys ages 14-15. Aside from teaching the boys class on Sundays we meet once weekly to either do service for someone in need or something fun. Serving with these boys is rewarding as well as challenging. But its the challenges in life that stretch us to find our inner strengths. Working with the youth is one of the most rewarding things that I have done in the Church.
