Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a small businessman. Father of 3 sons and I'm proud of all of them. I also have 4 step sons and a step daughter and they too bring me great joy, along with my 19 grand children. I enjoy camping, hunting, fishing spending time with my family

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't always a member of the church. In 1995 my life was in a dark and scary place, I had nowhere to turn so I started praying and reading the bible. I started attending different churches but never felt comfortable even after found one I liked and got to know some of people things just didn't seem right. Then one day the missionaries knocked on my door I let them in we talked, prayed and read from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. As I continued to talk with the missionaries, reading the Book of Mormon and attending church with them the minute I walked into the building people were shaking my hand welcoming me, asking me to sit with them and their family. Now I have to be honest I was a pretty scary looking guy, I had long hair down to the middle of my back, and a beard but these people didn't care there were even members that I had worked with I my career. Anyway I studied and prayed about if this was the true church the Holy Spirit touched my heart and I knew this was my church so I was baptised on May 15, 1995 and have never looked back.

How I live my faith

Now I have served as a Boy Scout Master, I'm currently service as a member of the clergy. my wife and I read and study the scriptures together, we pray together. I do my hometeaching which is where myself another member go and visit other members in their homes at least once a month to teach them, to be of service to them by perhaps moving a couch scooping the snow. I met my wife when I was teaching in the childrens primary. I know this is the true Church of Jesus Christ and I strive to live my life the same as Jesus Christ.
